Each year the Abbot Kinney Festival gets better and better and no matter what anyone says, there are still plenty of local artisans with original, hand made work. Heck, I would know because I’m one of them. And I’ve lived on the Westside of Los Angeles most of my life.  Cities change its true; and Venice is no exception. With growth and change there are the inevitable pangs of sentiment, loss and disappointment. But I have found at the end of that dark, awkward tunnel of bitterness is the light of opportunity and learning. Of course music, shopping and margaritas help immensely! Come down and help us celebrate!
